Martin Marietta is currently looking to hire a 3rd shift Labor Foreman.  The Labor Foreman is responsible for maintaining an injury free work environment, ensuring environmental compliance, and quality assurance. This position leads production personnel and utilizes equipment, to maintain maximum productivity levels. The Production Shift Supervisor will monitor shift reports, direct resources as needed, and communicate with other departments. This position will trouble shoot and lead corrective actions to sustain a productive work environment to support product delivery and customer service. Essential Functions:Value and Promote safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company values, policies, and compliance requirementsSupervise production personnel, utilize equipment, and maintain maximum productivity levels.Communicate effectively to lead, train, and motivate teamsProvide key leadership for shift operations – take appropriate action when requiredMonitor product quality and take appropriate actions when not meeting specificationsLead change and implement continuous improvementUnderstand and Lead under the labor agreementTrack and report attendanceAdminister and document training for hourly personnelMaintain and enforce good housekeepingRequirements:Minimum 2 years industrial supervisory experienceBasic understanding of safety regulations and environmental complianceStrong Interpersonal and Communication Skills (both written and verbal)Ability to resolve complex situations related to operations as well as personnelTroubleshooting skills and Mechanical aptitude a plusSome Computer SkillsPrimary 3rd shift but flexibility to work any shift (day / swing / night)Mining and Kiln Experience a plus, but not necessary
