•    Support various aspects of the accounting and reporting processes by collaborating with team mates to close, prepare, review, and analyze financial results and statements.
•    Develop and manage the companies’ budget and forecasting processes. Provide monthly financial forecasting to support the strategic plan.
•    Possess an aptitude to make sound business decisions regarding high level finance/accounting initiatives.
•    Proven track record of solving complex problems either through automated solutions and/or process changes.
•    Ability to identify areas of opportunity and implement specific action plans to improve all aspects of the finance/accounting department goals.
•    Recognizes issues and challenges and presents them to management in a professional manner which includes solutions.
•    Develops workflow processes that are key drivers for the business.
•    Ability to develop complex change management initiatives.
•    Ability to plan and lead highly effective meetings and follow through with resolutions.
•    Mentors and coach, a team of accounting professionals.
•    Active listener who provides focused feedback using a consultative approach
•    Lead the team in addressing audit review concerns, internal controls, and SOX Compliance
•    Contributes to the overall morale of the Company with positive attitude and professional manner

Qualifications

•    Accounting/Finance Degree and/or equivalent work experience 
•    Industry experience is a plus but not required.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and/or external stakeholders:
•    Strong oral/written communication skills with a positive attitude.
•    Demonstrated leadership and team management experience. 
•    Detail-oriented with initiative and ability to work in fast-paced team environment.
•    A focus on delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
•    Very Proficient in the use of computer software programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
•    Energetic, resourceful, strong analytical skills, with the ability to execute tasks through to resolution
