Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable invoices out of our Corporate Office in New Hampton, IA. The ideal candidate is a detail and deadline-oriented individual who excels in the technical and functional aspects of accounts payable with a strong background in Microsoft Excel. This is a full-time position that reports to the Accounts Payable Lead and has no supervisory responsibility.

Essential Duties and Functions:
+ Understand general ledger coding structures and job costing
+ Knowledge of state sales tax and use tax
+ Communicate with vendors and managers in a professional and confidential manner
+ Scan, attach, and validate invoices
+ Code and process invoices
+ Meet deadlines and complete multiple tasks promptly
Position Requirements:
+ Consent to authorization of a pre-employment background check and drug test
+ Two-year college degree or equivalent experience
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
+ Self-directed and motivated to exceed expectations
+ Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
+ Able to work well within a team and also independently
+ Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal
+ Maintain a high degree of accuracy
