Requires a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 6 months of experience in the position offered or 6 months of experience supporting embedded software development in C or C++. 6 months of experience designing and implementing automated tests for high performance, high reliability real-time embedded computing platforms. Employee reports to office in Dearborn, MI. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

We are offering a salary of $83,904 to $182,310 per year.

What you’ll be able to do: 

Develop embedded and external user tools to aid in the collection, analysis, and reporting of system performance. Support in-vehicle data collection by maintaining software compatibility across ECU’s, understanding system, sensor, and software dependencies, and collaborating with feature experts to troubleshoot development issues. Take performance measurements, analyze, report, and optimize the interactions between software and hardware resources on embedded ECU’s. Create performance measurements dashboards containing timing information, resource consumption information, and trends. Define performance measurement profiles based on the hardware and software architecture, creating use cases considerate of features and functions under various stress conditions. Document and report on performance designs, results, and optimization recommendations.
