JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Designing and analyzing components and electro-mechanical assemblies * Creating and maintaining mechanical solid models and drawings using SolidWorks * Creating and managing bills of material (BOM) within company's data management systems * Developing fixtures and equipment to support testing and production efforts * Developing and presenting PowerPoint slides documenting design progress * Participating in various technical and program meetings on a weekly basis * Developing technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer team. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be a US Citizen * Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field * 5+ years of job-related experience OR * Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience * Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings * Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards * Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects * Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals * Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
