AI / Automation Accounting Manager
Position Summary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,000.00 to $197,000.00.


You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

 

Work you’ll do 

·        Collaborate with accounting and IT teams to ensure successful deployment of AI tools.

·        Train accounting staff on the use of AI tools and technologies.

·        Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AI trends, technologies, and regulations in the accounting field.

·        Leverage AI technologies to deliver strategic financial insights and forecasts.

·        Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

·        Partner with business and technical leaders to deliver, maintain, support business solutions.

·        Manage relationships with outside vendors. May serve internal or external clients.

Our services include diagnosis analytics, process automation, analytics insight, data visualization, and financial modeling to help implement new or improved strategies in the operating model.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Required: 

 

·        Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, computer science, or related field.

·        5+ years of experience in Python, VBA, SQL or other similar automation programs.

·        Proficient in Machine Learning, Large Language Model, Optical Character Recognition, and/or Prompt Engineering experience.

·        1+ years of experience in accounting, AI tool development, and implementation.

·        Familiarity with AI technologies and platforms.

·        Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

·        Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

·        Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Secret clearance for this role

·        Strong project management and team leadership skills

·        Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. 

Preferred:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Scrum Master certificationMBA or a master’s degree in another related field
