As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally.

Our design team is part of the Foundry Technology, Engineering, and Customer-Engagement Team within IFS. We are a small, tightly knit group of analog circuit, logic, and mask designers located in Folsom California who are dedicated to helping Intel achieve its IDM2.0 goals by enabling world-class foundational and custom IP development and test chips, end-to-end circuit design, and power, performance, area analysis.

We are looking for the right person to take an Analog Design role in the design and analysis of analog circuits - someone who will seize the opportunity to lead, design, and validate foundational analog IP such as Voltage Regulators and References, High Voltage Circuit Design such as level shifters, charge pumps, and bias circuits, PLLs, CTLE/DFE sub-blocks for TX and RX circuits, registers, data converters, etc.

The key responsibilities of this person include the following:

Analog and Mixed Signal circuit design.Circuit modeling.Reliability Validation.PPA optimization.

The Analog Engineer should possess the following attributes:

Excellent communication: Expected to drive clarity across partners, managers.Excellent teamwork: With a relatively small team, we need everyone to help however and wherever they can. Eagerness to learn: Initially the focus will be on specific analog IP as IFS grows, but ultimately the role will expand to whatever is necessary to help IFS to succeed.
Qualifications

What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field with 1+ years’ experience OR a Masters degree in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field .  1+ years’ experience Cadence schematic and layout tool suit and Spice/FastSpice/AMS simulation tools.1+ years’ experience with circuit design, layout, circuit reliability tools/methodologies.1+ years’ experience with design model building and validation methodologies.1+ years’ experienced working in UNIX environment.1+ years’ experience with scripting language like Perl, TCL, Python, etc.

How to Stand out (Preferred Qualifications):

Masters degree in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field and 4+ years.  Experience with high speed data converters design.Experience with PLL design. Experience with complex analog I/O circuits.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $106,231.00-$159,109.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
