Job Summary
Provides interpretation and translation services for deaf, or hard of hearing patients and their families/caregivers, and employees in accordance with Spectrum Health and departmental policies and procedures.

Essential Functions
Ensures appropriate interpretation, transliterating and language access services for Deaf/Hard of Hearing patients and employees.Provides interpreting and transliterating services in accordance with Spectrum Health policies and procedures and the National Council on Interpreters In Health Care (NCIHC) Code of Ethics governing the profession of interpretation.
QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or equivalent Successful completion of an Interpreting/Transliterating Degree Program providing interpreting services in a health care setting RequiredCRT-Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), Certified - NAD National Association of the Deaf required LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan required CRT-Auto Insurance - UNKNOWN Unknown required
