Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Associate Director for the Office Institutional Research. The Associate Director reports to the Director of Data Analytics and Management (Director) and will be responsible for supervising an institutional research effectiveness team and IR related data analysis projects.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Manages and oversees the data capturing, extraction, reporting, and analysis to support the institutional research data needs of the Office to support university-wide, chancellor, and school operations. Plans, coordinates, and implements complex data analyses. Works with IR staff to implement analyses. Provides data-analytic support on various research projects. Conducts predictive and impact studies and developing metrics and benchmarks relating to the student experience and institutional effectiveness. Performs professional work that requires specialized to general knowledge of the field of institutional research, institutional effectiveness, and a solid understanding, use, and application of concepts, theories, principles, practices, and terminology of this area of specialization. Works with IR staff to organize, analyze and submit AAUDE data and provide related internal analysis. Acts as liaison between the Office and the Association of American Universities Data Exchange (AAUDE) and other agencies to ensure that the university responds to requirements and requests and is responsible for providing accurate and timely data.
