Develops, designs, builds and tests robotic platforms from prototype through product commercialization. Creates an integrated autonomous interface, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction. Works with cross-functional teams to understand opportunities for robotic applications.
Major Position Responsibilities
• Assists engineers with the development and implementation of automation systems or components.
• Programs, installs, tests, and maintains robots or automated components.
• Assists in the commissioning and deployment of new automation installations, conducts field trials to ensure appropriate operation, and prepares reports or records documenting actions or findings.
• Investigate and troubleshoots defects or bugs, complete repairs and provides preventative maintenance.
Basic Qualifications Required Education: Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience Vocational/Technical Training Degree; Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & ExperiencePreferred Education: Associate's Degree Discipline/Major: Engineering Degree or equivalent training and experienceYears and Area of Experience (required for the role): 2-4 years prior experience in a similar position.
