If you are looking for an interesting role in a dynamic and diverse group, join us in our AMERICAS region.\n\nWe are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in AMERICAS at Westerville, Ohio.\n\n\nJob Purpose:\n\n\n\n\nSupport performance and capacity management\nLead continuous improvement and transition initiatives on country level\nEnable implementation of global initiatives on local level\nDrive digitalization efforts at local level\n\n\n\n\nYour tasks:\nPerformance Measurement\n\n\nAligns local KPIs and target setting with global guidance.\nDevelops country specific KPI reporting details.\nBenchmarks and identifies best practices across centers, customers, and other countries.\nIdentifies and communicates performance gaps.\nInterprets data and highlight deviations, trends, correlations, etc.\nResponsible for compiling local and regional performance data.\nConducts / participates in internal and external benchmarks.\n\n\nProcess Improvement\n\n\nDefines and maintains operational processes.\nIdentifies improvement actions through data analysis, GEMBA walks, and other tools\nExecutes and prepares own process excellence workshops and activities (PEAs)\nPerforms initiative scoping with process owners and local management.\nAccompanies assigned improvement areas and initiatives to successful implementation.\nDrives digitalization efforts on country level (from ideation to implementation)\nInteracts with key stakeholders and ensures support and engagement in program and initiatives.\nSupports in the training of staff in First Choice methodology and First Choice culture/mindset.\nRolls out improvement tools and methodologies (i.e., Performance Dialogs, Capacity Management, Gemba Walks, Lean House)\n\n\nProject Management\n\n\nPrepare training materials.\nCollect business requirements and translate them into documentation in the form of processes, descriptions, flowcharts, forms etc.\nGather data from a variety of sources, as directed, for use in analysis.\nConduct interviews/meetings with process owners to define and map as-is processes and agree on process inputs/outputs to ensure standardization and consistency.\nCollect data for use in research and analysis in order to assist in the provisioning of advice and assistance on quality management and performance monitoring.\nAssist in changing procedures\nSteers/supports tracking and documentation of projects on country level\n\n\n\n\nYour profile:\n\n\nEducation Level\n\n\n\nEnglish fluent\nMBA/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification.\n\nExperience Level\n\n\n\nProject management experience beneficial\nHigh IT affinity.\nKnowledge and experience in the field of process and project management (agile & classic methods).\nTraining experience\nExperience working in multicultural teams.\n1 year of experience working in performance management and project environments\nExperience in documenting and improving processes and defining systems requirements.\nAvailable to travel up to 10% of time.\n1 year of background in HR and/or shared services preferred.\nSix sigma qualification preferred/ DHL Group First Choice Advisor preferred\nProcess automation experience is a plus.\n\n\nSoft Skills\n\n\nOrganization and prioritization skills\nAnalytical skills\nSociability (high degree of social competence, high empathy)\nPatience\nCooperation with team/colleagues\nVery high resilience\n\n\nWe offer:\n\n\n\n\nGreat opportunity to work for the biggest logistics company in the world\nInternational and virtual environment\nFlexibility and great opportunity to learn\nTempting Compensation and benefits\n\n\n\nDHL is an equal opportunity employer.
