Business Intelligence Manager- Operational Excellence

Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise, conceptual and practical knowledge of theories and principles in the discipline of business intelligence, and applies general knowledge of business and industry practices. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Provides data driven insights into what and why it happened using descriptive data analysis, root cause analysis, data management tools, visualization and other tools and processes to develop, test, implement and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports and change recommendations. Identifies patterns and trends and to answer questions that are not obvious and transforms raw data into use and business trend insights. May use data handling tools. Serves as advisor on advanced and broad ranging projects. Interprets business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Leads others in solving complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions. Leads functional teams or projects. Exercises judgment in evaluation, selection, and adaption of both standard and complex techniques and procedures. Uses in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures and monitors trends.

Work with technology, finance and sourcing and procurement teams to identify relevant trends and opportunitiesTake ownership of high priority projects/programs and drive program delivery, stakeholder management, mentoring junior team members and influencing our future growth strategiesApply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users can effectively use our solutionsLeading multiple programs from ideation to implementation to change managementThe BI Manager has work across the following areasOperations: work with analysts to develop models for forecasting, regression analysis, monitor key metrics, root cause analysis for changes in metrics, building and analyzing dashboards and reportsExploratory Analysis: Building key data sets for operational and exploratory analysis, proposing what to build in the roadmap, understanding trends and behaviors and identifying new levers to improve metricsInfrastructure – work in SQL/Oracle for automating analyses and author pipelines via SQL and Python based ETL frameworkStrong communication and organization skills – experience with presenting and explaining any technical analysis to a non-technical audience

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $114,100-$159,900
