Catering Client Specialist - DC Market

They are positive, organized, and customer-service-oriented team member looking for an opportunity to grow with a fast-growing catering business. The Catering Client Specialist is a brand ambassador and demonstrates that in all that they do.

This is a full-time position.  Typically, the Catering Coordinator will be scheduled to work from early morning to mid-afternoon.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Customer Service: Complete callbacks and/or email follow-ups with existing customers after every order with the objective of exceeding client expectations and contributing to the continued growth of our catering business. Assist clients in menu planning, coordinating food, beverage, delivery instructions and other services that may be requested. Order Preparation: Lead and actively participate in the prep and production of all catering orders and the items within those orders (food, beverage and packaging). Ensure all orders are prepared accurately to recipe specification and staged in a fashion for on-time pick-up or delivery. Delivery: Work with and utilize third-party services and systems as necessary to ensure timely off-premise delivery and onsite pick-up of food orders to/by catering clients. Deliver orders if third-party delivery is not available or if it is in the best interest of the client and Tatte’s business practices. Schedule all internal delivery drivers. Re-verify that all orders are accurate prior to being dispatched for delivery or pick-up using our systems and processes. Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrates consistent and excellent customer service. Must adhere to catering team standards. Extensive menu knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication with clients as well as management. Ability to use Toast POS system. Basic computer skills: Word, Outlook, Excel. Must possess a Driver’s license. Able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Able to lift objects up to 30 pounds for distances up to 25 feet. Must be able to demonstrate Food and Equipment Safety adherence. Must hold presentation to the highest standards. Must have strong team-building skills. Must have a desire to grow the off-premise catering business at Tatte.
