In leu of a future government contract aware, GiaCare Inc. is now accepting resumes for experienced, civilian Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to work alongside the federal government at Fort Belvoir Army Base (Virginia).

Qualifications

• Degree/Education: The Certified Medical Assistant must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Nurse Assistant program.

• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: The Medical Assistant shall be certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or American Registry Medical Assistants (ARMA) or National Health career Association (NHA). The Medical Assistant must have and maintain certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Certified through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

• Experience:  At least one (1) year of experience in a long term acute/skilled care facility, primary care clinic, inpatient medical/surgical unit or military experience

• Board Certification: N/A

• Licensure/Registration:  None
