An Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading a team to achieve exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel. The Executive Housekeeper will manage the housekeeping department and ensure all rooms, hallways, and lobbies are clean, as well as ensure that all rooms are stocked, cleaned, and ready for guests on a daily basis.

 

Purchasing, monitoring, and controlling inventory for housekeeping department within budget guidelinesCompleting work schedules for housekeeping department staff in a timely and effective mannerEnforcing and coordinating all training efforts and counseling throughout the housekeeping departmentKnowledge of and ability to perform opening/closing procedures for the housekeeping departmentInspecting rooms and public spaces daily to ensure brand standards, safety, and total cleanlinessEnsuring that all maintenance issues are reported immediatelyPromoting, participating, and is knowledgeable of all brand programs and standardsConducting regular staff meeting and completing all paperwork in a timely mannerEnsuring the follow-through of O&RAssisting with all training efforts throughout the housekeeping department; enforcing and promoting the QTR culture throughout the housekeeping department.Embracing and demonstrating the core ideology dailyOperating under budgetary guidelinesOperating with a guest satisfaction urgency and striving for 100 percent guest satisfaction at all timesPromoting and encouraging team work at all timesMonitoring and logging key controlCommunicating and is knowledgeable of SALT scoresProviding information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other amenitiesRequirements                                                                                                                  

 

Prior supervisory experience is required, preferably in a hospitality settingPrior housekeeping experience is requiredStrong initiative and work ethicPunctual , reliable, and regular attendanceStrong attention to detailCustomer-service orientedStrong multitasking and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills – verbal and writtenExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent time and project management skills
