**Job Description** Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The board-certified physicians in the Oncology department evaluate and treat all types of cancer and blood disorders. Straub's Certified Oncology Nurses are trained to provide education and emotional support to patients and their families. The Straub Cancer Center team includes board certified physicians, nurses, registered dietitians, outpatient and inpatient staff, and a quality of life professional. In addition to treatment and therapy, the Center offers family education and support group sessions to help patients and their families cope with illness. You could gain valuable first-hand clinical operations and health care experience as a Clinic Aide. You will join the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff on Maui that provide our recognized compassionate health services to patients and their families. In this role you would serve as a nursing assistant who performs routine tasks ranging from monitoring supplies to administering health care to patients of all ages to supporting departmental staff. Current American Heart Association Heart Saver-AED card. **Preferred Qualifications:** Completion of medical terminology course.
