Responsible for support of the business users in key operations. Uses excellent customer service skills to assist with training and support. Supports existing functionality within the Epic system and other integrated clinical systems through problem-solving and educational skills. Utilizes a basic understanding of Epic software, operational workflows, and policies supporting the business.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides front line customer support in the use of the clinical documentation system.Prioritizes feature adoption by the provider and the clinician to enhance workflow efficiency and promote satisfaction.Partners with clinical management and ACO to support system initiatives related to documentation compliance.Triages system issues and escalates to appropriate IS teams for resolution.Assists with the optimization of the system in the provider practice environment to support quality of care and efficiency.Partners with the technology teams, healthcare consumer, healthcare team, and others to implement new initiatives on time, within budget, and within plan requirements.Fosters organizational culture that supports the strategic and operational goals of the organizationTravels within organization as needed to provide onsite support. Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION
Associate’s degree in Healthcare related fieldEXPERIENCE
Two years' clinical work experienceTwo years’ experience in use or support of Epic or other Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systemPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.Frequent keyboard use/data entry.Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.Rare climbing.Work Shift:
