Nurses in our Premium Paid Weekend Shift Program earn an hourly bonus on top of their base rate. We currently have openings for full time and part time day and night shift weekend premiums.
The Clinical Nurse provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients. Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population. Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family and all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care. Follows organizational policies in providing safe patient care. Performs other duties as assigned.
Cambridge 10: Acute Leukemia, Blood & Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular Therapy Unit
This 34-bed protective environment unit specializes in the care of new leukemia patients and patients in our nationally accredited blood and marrow transplant and cellular therapy program. These patients often experience longer hospital stays due to complex chemotherapy regimens, prolonged neutropenia and supportive care therapies including intravenous medications, electrolyte replacements and blood transfusions. Specialized nursing care is required to ensure optimal outcomes and our team is able to develop strong relationships with our patients over the course of their treatment.Responsibilities:Provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being ofpatients. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing
For ADN prepared nurses hired after February 24, 2017, must complete BSN degree by the fifth anniversary of employment as an RN with UKHA
BLS Certification or obtained within 14 days of hire
Registered Nurse in State of Kansas or compact license
6+ months experience as a Clinical Nurse

BSN
