This is your opportunity to join a team that is making an impact on protecting National interests.   ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission and customer-oriented **Director Cloud Application Architect** to join our team in the Washington D.C area—hybrid/virtual.  **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Serve as a senior technology leader to develop solution architectures and roadmaps to modernize government programs with a large portfolio of legacy systems and applications. + Collaborate with government executives to transform the way Federal agencies use technology, including cloud migration / modernization and AI. + Apply industry-leading approaches and technologies, including Agile, DevSecOps, and cloud-native architectures (e.g., Kubernetes) to solve complex client challenges and provide highly innovative solutions. + Work in a cross-cutting fashion to drive architectural consistency and technical solution architecture across all layers, including infrastructure, data, business services, user interface, security, and enterprise services. + Drive modern software development principles and technologies, including cloud-native development using microservices and containers. Serve as a mentor to technical staff, building both their technical knowledge and their skills in responding to growth opportunities. + Provides technical leadership and is responsible for establishing the direction for the application architecture, standards, design, and implementation in a distributed cloud environment in AWS. **Basic Qualifications:** + A minimum of (15) fifteen years of experience with technical leadership, including supporting cross-functional teams in the areas of software engineering, cloud migration and modernization, analytics, consulting, and cyber. + A minimum of (10) ten years of experience with leading software engineering, ATO and security accreditations. + A minimum of (5) five years of experience in monolithic, legacy architectures for on-prem or cloud systems. + A minimum of (5) five years of experience in modern, open architectures using microservices or serverless in AWS, Google, or Azure Cloud and with developing software applications using technical stacks including Java, Python, Angular, Node or Reach. + A minimum of (5) five years of experience building large-scale enterprise solutions, including security concerns, high availability methods, multiple platforms, network design, monitoring solutions, and performance. + Experience with the application of Agile practices, principles, and patterns and fielding operational System of System architectures. + Experience with DevOps support for continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies. + Knowledge of Enterprise-scale architecture and the application to Cloud platform transformation. + A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. **Preferred Qualifications:** + A minimum of (3) three years of experience with AI and ML integration to cloud platforms. + Experience with government acquisition and proposal development. + Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with executive-level briefing materials and presentations. + Master’s degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or System Engineering. + AWS or Azure Certification. + Scaled Agile Framework version 6 (SAFe) Architect (ARCH) certification. **Clearance Requirements:**   + Must be a U.S. citizen. + Must be able to obtain DHS/CBP Suitability clearance. **Physical Requirements:**   + Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.  + Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.  + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.  + The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.  + The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
