Precise Systems is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Configuration Manager to join our team in Crane, IN. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following responsibilities and duties and possess the following credentials for the job. Responsibilities Include: + Provide full range of Configuration Management support, including being a reliable source of Configuration Information (CI) to support all program/project activities including Program Management, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Software Development and Maintenance, Logistics Support, Modification, and Maintenance. + Maintain consistency between the product definition, the product's configuration, and the CM records. + Develop and maintain a database documenting configurations and locations. + Develop and maintain written processes for various processes, such as Configuration Identification update and maintenance and standard operating procedures. + Develop and maintain a current Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) for all assets. + Develop and maintain a current Asset Management list showing location and configuration of each asset. + Develop a program ECP and TD process. Desired Experience: + Minimum three (3) years of professional Configuration Management skills supporting a DoD customer preferably Navy or more specifically a NAVAIR project. + Experience with CM practices and principles to include, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-130, NAVAIR-00-25-300, ASME Y14 and best practices to include: document CM, data CM, and software CM. Desired Education: + BA/BS degree or 2 years of additional relevant experience can be substituted for each year of non-degree. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
