Stevenson Consulting, Inc. is a well-established engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspections. We are looking for a full-time entry-level CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR to join our team. Responsibilities: + Observing and testing samples of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry and asphalt on client’s job sites + Preparing daily field reports for management review + Assisting with laboratory testing and other assigned tasks as needed + Daily interaction with clients and team members Required: + High school diploma or equivalent + 3 years’ experience in construction industry + Ability to lift 50 lbs and team lift 70 Ibs + Ability to climb ladders + Ability to work off-shift hours, including some weekends + Ability to work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions + Computer/Tablet proficiency + Valid driver’s license, with satisfactory driving history + Ability to pass background screen Desired: + Work experience in construction industry + ACI Concrete Field Grade I + Nuclear Safety + VDOT Soils and Aggregate + VDOT Asphalt Level I & II We offer a competitive compensation package and benefits.
