JOB DUTIES:


Drive portfolio Sales and Operations strategies toward “Best in class” resultsUnderstand the market dynamics and brands at each hotel locationWork directly with hotel's Director of Sales, General Manager, E Commerce, Social Media and Revenue Management.Establish a successful partnership between brands, corporate office, and hotelsParticipate in the development and implementations of sales strategies that increase Occupancy. ADR, and RevPar.Participate in developing strategies, which focus on the acquisition, retention, and strengthening of the hotels' relationships with individual consumersProvide expertise to hotels on best practices and guide marketing staff in applying best practices as appropriateStay current with best practices in industryDetermine measurement methodology and track performance for both Sales and Operations teamsAnalysis of the weekly/monthly reports to redirect or train as needed


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


Undergraduate degree requiredMinimum of 10 years of experience in Sales and Operations disciplinesExperience with Strategic Planning and Market Re-PositioningAbility to develop, critique, and managing actionable, flexible property level market segment strategies to drive corporate and weekend businessStrong Analytical Skills - understanding the numbersSales and marketing experience in some combination of the Hilton Focused-Service brands Strong knowledge of electronic marketing and distribution systems: brand web sites, third party travel sites, pay per click advertising, etc.Knowledge of PMS systems, reservations systems and automated yield management systems (GRO, R&I, OnQ)Strong financial background and understanding of property P&Ls. Must possess the ability to demonstrate analytical skills in analyzing STAR reports and P&L results and turning analysis into successful action plansKnowledge of, and experience in, managing relationships at the executive level of aforementioned brands sales and marketing teamsExperience in managing regional sales organizations relationships to the advantage of individual propertiesExtensive experience in Experience in hiring, selecting, and developing Sales Managers and Directors of Sales, Ability and willingness to travel monthly for multiple daysWillingness and ability to live in the Winston-Salem Area.
