SUMMARY

The Pricing Clerk's responsibilities is to provide customers with accurate prices and 100% scanability.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform implementation of price changes for warehouse and DSD itemsCommunicate and resolve price discrepanciesMakes and enters changes in computer systemsVerifies prices on an ongoing basis through the weekly verification routineAssists in weekly adSign making for all departmentsAssist in maintaining an accurate deal card systemAssists with in-store promotionsAssists Perishable Departments pricing issuesFollows all store and department policies and proceduresFollows safety policies and procedures; is a safety role modelOther duties as assigned by supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED);One to three months related experience and/or training;Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
