Aspirus is seeking a CT Scan Technologist in Portage, WI to work in our Imaging Services department.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, PET scans, and X-rays, according to established protocols and physician orders.Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to obtain high-quality images.Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Varied shifts.
Experience/Qualifications
Graduation from an approved radiography school, an Associate Degree in Radiography, or sufficient on the job training to meet ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in diagnostic imaging beneficial to enhance and develop skills.ARRT (R)State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer licenseCurrent BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
