Position Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices, as well as experience in developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures. The Data Governance Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of our data assets. + Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures + Ensure compliance with data regulations and standards + Promote data quality and integrity + Manage data governance risk + Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address data governance issues + Conduct data governance audits and assessments + Provide training and education on data governance to employees + Stay up-to-date on the latest data governance trends and best practices Required Skills and Qualifications: + Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance or a related field + Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices + Experience in developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures + Experience in conducting data governance audits and assessments + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills: + Experience in working with big data technologies + Experience in working with data visualization tools + Knowledge of zero trust data architectures Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or related discipline Security Clearance: No Security Clearance required, but Secret or higher preferred. Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.
