Demand Planning Assistant
Position OverviewThe Demand Planning Assistant role assists Demand Planners (Associate Analysts, Analysts, and Senior Analysts) with distribution management, support tasks, and promotional forecasting responsibility. A Demand Planning Assistant will run daily SL reports, Ad Management reports and Distribution Management reports that will be shared internally and externally. A Demand Planning Assistant will adjust, expedite, cancel, and load distribution requests as they come into their respective inboxes from customers and internal partners. A Demand Planning Assistant will own forecasting promotional demand for a smaller customer or part of a larger customer. This position will at times require independent decision-making around the proper handling of allocations and execution of forecasting.

Job Description

Maintain allocations in the NODS system, or via customer communication in the system and monitor inventory levels and release dates for allocations in NODS as well as report updates and changes to the business.Run, manipulate, and distribute a variety of reports for internal and external use. Adjust, cancel, and expedite the allocations as received by the customer, buyers, and ad analystsWork collaboratively across teams in order to innovate as well as anticipate and adapt to changeOrganize and communicate changes to appropriate teamsMaintain SOP documentation, train peers on processes (for coverage as needed) and suggest and assist in process improvements within the assigned workload. Provide coverage for individuals when out of the office.Depending on the customer account, conduct forecasting and analytics, as needed, book and maintain programsTravel Required: No

Skills

Basic computer knowledge; procurement knowledge is a plusExcellent customer service and communication skills; outstanding attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing atmosphere; basic Excel skills

Years Of Experience

0-2 years of experience in an office environment and/or Wholesale-retail industry; Knowledge of Procurement processes is preferred
