GiaCare is now accepting resumes for a civilian Dental Assistant to work full-time in anticipation for a future position at Cannon AFB (New Mexico).

 

Job Qualifications:

Degree/Education: Certificate or associate degree as a dental assistant/tech. from a program accredited by the CODA of the ADA and 12 mos. experience within the preceding 36 mos.

Certifications: Basic Life Support. Certified in radiography

Experience: Six months of experience as a Dental Assistant after graduation.

Job Duties: 

Performs dental health duties. Assists in planning, developing, and conducting comprehensive dental health programs. Performs dental administrative and materiel duties. Maintains dental health records, filing systems, and publications. Reviews correspondence, reports, and records for accuracy. Performs dental materiel functions related to procurement, custodial responsibilities, maintaining and disposing of dental supplies and equipment. 

Schedule: Monday – Friday
