Digital Marketing Specialist

The digital marketing specialist is a key member of our team dedicated to the day-to-day operations of our digital marketing efforts. This role will provide support across channels including email marketing, social media, website management, digital analytics, SEO and multi-media. The ideal candidate is energetic, adaptable, detail-oriented, and is highly motivated to contribute to multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The digital marketing specialist will support digital campaigns, digital content creation and execution working closely with multiple teams across ASHP. This role will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a range of key digital marketing functions. This position will be based onsite in our Bethesda, MD office, and the employee in this role will be working in a hybrid environment, consistent with Association-wide ASHP policies applicable to HQ-based employees. What You'll Be Doing: Email Marketing: + Build email messages in collaboration with stakeholders across teams in Hubspot. + Manages the day to day operations of the digital marketing team including coordinating and reviewing our email marketing messages and schedule, podcast releases and posting web content to our sites. + Manage campaigns, audience lists, email analytics and campaigns in Hubspot Digital Marketing Analytics: + Build and optimize digital marketing reports using Google Analytics and competitive analytics tools such as SimilarWeb. + Provide marketing insights using analytic tracking in reporting platforms such as: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, SimilarWeb, CRMs (Personify and Salesforce) Google Ads, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Web Content Management: + Manage the development of content and asset requirements to execute creation of new or modification of existing webpages in our CMS (Sitecore). + Collaborate with internal stakeholders and CMS editors across our teams to meet business needs. Identify, evaluate, and resolve issues. Troubleshoot content-related issues for CMS editors. + Review and approve content with respect to our brand guidelines and content management best practices. What You Bring to ASHP: + Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field required + A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience preferably in a marketing, digital marketing or communications role. + Experience working in a collaborative environment. + Non-profit and/or healthcare organizational experience a plus + Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager + Desired basic understanding of or willingness to learn about content management systems (Sitecore, wordpress, drupal) and html coding software like dreamweaver. + Exceptional attention to detail. + Strong analytical skills and critical thinking. + Graphic Design experience desired, but not required. + Some experience or familiarity with a range of digital marketing analytics platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Advertising and SEO tools (Moz, SEMRush). + Some experience or familiarity with a range of marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Mailchimp), + Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) + Some experience or proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite a plus - Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop. + Some experience of html and wysiwyg editors.
