Digital Transformation Architect-Model Based System Engineering

Do you like solving problems, no matter how large or how complex?  Our Avionics and Systems Engineering group is offering a challenging variety of projects to support our customers across multiple military aircraft. We are currently looking for a Digital Transformation Consultant to join our team to support projects on the F-16 for the USAF.

Role and Responsibilities:

As part of a team, you will:

Define the Model Based Systems Engineering Strategy for the F-16 and generate standards, policies and processes to support the implementation of the strategySolve complex problems to meet team goals as well as interfacing with government and sub-contractor personnel in a team environment.Provide expertise to USAF Customers in support of Digital Transformation effortsAct as the focal point between the USAF Customers and KBR experts across the GlobeRepresent KBR on USAF Customer sitesResearch and develop Digital Solutions to meet USAF Customer needs

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years relevant experience to include 5+ years’ experience in Digital Engineering Data Management, Engineering Governance, Policy and Process, Digital Tool deployment or Digital Transformation ConsultancyProven history of developing and deploying MBSE Solutions into an Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, math, computer science, or other technical discipline from and ABET Accredited Institution or equivalent experience in lieu of educationExperience developing execution strategies and plans in support of organizational changeAbility to write formal engineering reports and construct briefing materials using MS Office tools such as Word, Power Point and ExcelMust be able to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance. US Citizenship is required.

Desired Experience:

Active DoD Secret ClearanceDetailed knowledge of the Engineering LifecycleKnowledge of U.S. Government, DoD, USAF, USSF, USN, and/or US Army technologyKnowledge of DoD Acquisition and SustainmentMilitary aviation systems experienceExperience of Model Based Systems EngineeringKnowledge and experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)INCOSE CSEP
