Overview

As a Direct Support Professional, you will:

Ensure safety and security, providing supervision at all times.Instruct and assist students in carrying out their daily living activities, including self-care management and developing social, communication, and emotional regulation skills.Assist in the classroom by providing guidance and acting as a role model for students.Manage behavior of our students.Demonstrate proactive, appropriate, and effective interactions with students while maintaining self-control during crisis interventions.

QualificationsMust be least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in psychology, social work, or related field preferredPrevious experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferredMust be available to work a schedule that will consist of both first and second shifts, every other weekend, double shifts, and a holiday rotationA valid Wisconsin driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred

Pay rate- $19-20/hour starting
