Our successful Pastry Chef will lead and operate 3 Bakery Kitchens (Student Dining, Catering and Conference Center) - and WOW our clientele in high end catering. This Hands-On Pastry Chef will train and develop 3-4 bakers. The Executive Pastry Chef will work collaboratively with the campus dining team to create bakery and desserts for residence dining, retail, teach baking classes and audit all bakery displays.

Manage the daily pastry production including production planning and controlsExperience creating innovative menus with demonstrated best practices for increasing the student/customer experienceHave the ability and willingness to develop and train frontline employeesEnjoy interacting with clients, students, faculty;
The ideal candidate will have the following preferred qualifications and experience:
2+ years of experience as Pastry Chef for high volume dining and high end catering. Strong leadership ability and successful supervisory backgroundProven Culinary knowledge: purchasing, inventory, production schedules and cost controlsPassion for food and innovationAbility to think out of the boxHighly organized and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
