The Cell Therapy and Cancer Immunology program in the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital is expanding its faculty. The mission of the CTCI program is to bring novel cellular therapies to children and young adults with cancer or other inherited or acquired conditions (e.g., hematopoietic, infectious, immunologic, etc) through scientific discovery, cellular and genetic engineering, and efficient manufacturing for rapid translation to the clinic. Qualifications Required
MD, MD/PhD, or PhD Track record of grant fundingTrack record of high quality first- or senior-author research publications relevant to cell-based therapies

Rapid growth- developed over 30 IND applications, 15 investigator-initiated cell therapy trials, 10 investigational cell therapy products, and over 60 patients treated with cellular therapy in 5 yearsProgram integration with OSUCCC and the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology CTCI infrastructure supports clinical trial development, IND preparation and submission, and GMP development/manufacturing of clinical-grade therapeuticsCentral manufacturing of investigation products for multi-institutional trials
