Provide service and customer support during installations, repair, management, and maintenance visits.Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendationsBuild positive relationships with customersDiagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutionsProduce timely and detailed service reportsProvide detailed technical services to all company sold, rented, &/or maintained equipment. Repair servicesSystem Start-up & commissioningTroubleshooting & diagnosisTraining servicesRespond to external and internal technical inquiries in a prompt and professional manner and demonstrate technical expertise in those interactions.Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments. Basic maintenance and plumbing skills are a must

To be a Field Service Technician, you will need to meet the following requirements, which are set by the Service Manager:
Needs to be a self-starter, goal driven and hold the ability to work well with others.Good and effective communication skillsGood analytical and organizational abilities are of great importancePossess good leadership ability, as well as ability to work as part of a team or even lead a team when called uponAbility to read and interpret specifications (permits, equipment specs, etc.)Ability to be proactive and to foresee events and react appropriately towards themThe ability to multitask and strategize in different situations is also relevantAbility to work and carry out projects within a stipulated time frame or deadlineKnowledge in wastewater/water treatment, some mechanical, or electrical is requiredConsistently arriving to work prepared to perform duties with a focus on operational excellenceBe neat and accurate, with good attention to detailsDesire to learn and grow in a new career
