The **Financial Accounting Analyst Senior** is responsible for providing technical leadership and setting strategic direction of projects. **How You Will Make an Impact** Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: + Manages close processes, related analysis and reporting. + May lead teams of associates. + Reviews and approves journal entries and reconciliations. + Prepares and reviews monthly and quarterly financial reports and complex analysis. + Designs research plans for data gathering and analysis and manages projects to deadlines. + Responsible for initiation and resolution of complex accounting problems requiring technical expertise. + Mentors, trains, and coaches lower level accountants. **Minimum Requirements:** Requires BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or related field and a minimum of 5 years experience in general accounting, finance or budgeting and planning in a large for profit organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. **Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:** + CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
