General Manager

As General Manager, you will lead and manage the store's daily operations to achieve sales goals, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure operational excellence. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing revenue and sales volume, visual appearance, product flow, conducting cash and petty cash audits, and managing time off requests. You will also provide training and coaching to staff, monitor customer feedback, track team performance, and create a positive work environment. This includes working directly with digital and face-to-face customers; being available for all associates as a resource to promote business and a high level of customer service.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

Responsible for revenue and store sales volume.Facilitating coaching/counseling efforts to support management team. Monitor and respond to returns, problem tickets, and incoming reviews on text/chat software. Plan and execute weekly advertising to include reviewing receiving calendar regularly. Ensure Category Managers and Visual Merchandisers follow applicable product launch and exit strategies. Review and/or administer monthly sales performance reviews with sales consultants. Review and respond to daily emails regarding delivery issues. Conduct one on one with any sales consultant’s error resulting in a return/exchange and communicate commission splits.Demonstrate a culture of respect, adaptability, multifunction capabilities and a strong work ethic. Must be flexible with work schedules and be available, as needed, to work evenings, holidays, and weekends, with or without advance notice. Understand and adhere to Company Policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct daily and weekly walkthroughs of showroom and backroom/warehouse. Approve time-off in Time Tracking System requests for managers and employees.Ensure the management team is in compliance with expected work schedules. Review Applicant Tracking System and conduct interviews. Complete DOMA approvals on a daily or weekly basis. Monitor and conduct any necessary training to improve sales consultants’ performance to include, NextGen, STORIS, text/chat software, GBS, Lezage, and product. Manage company reserve, $0 deposit, voids, and cancelled orders. Attend weekly store leadership, GM, and AD meetings, to review and discuss team wins and goals.Manage compliance of safety/security in facility.Ensure “First Person” service in entire facility. Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
