Job Description Summary Job Description Well-established General Surgery practice is looking to add an additional Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to its hospital-employed practice of 5 board-certified General Surgeons and 3 APP's. PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS: + Full-time, Monday - Friday (7a - 5p) with 1:4 weekend call + Will have the Friday following a call weekend off + Job duties will include assisting in the OR, rounding/consult/discharge for inpatients, and seeing patients in the clinic + Clinic responsibilities will be 1 day/week and is rotated among all APP's QUALIFICATIONS: + Academic preparation as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) with acute-care certification + RN First Assist (RNFA) certification is required for CRNP's + Active BLS and ACLS certification + Eligibility to obtain an AL CRNP or PA license BENEFITS: + Guaranteed base annual salary DOE + $15,000 commencement payment + Annual allowances for professional dues and CME expenses + Paid malpractice with tail coverage + Earned Time Off and Extended Illness Benefits + Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance options as well as retirement plan contributions with employer match Shift Shift Details FTE 1 Type Regular Join one of Forbes 500 best mid-sized employers in America.
