At FutureCare our Geriatric Nursing Assistant/Activities Assistant provide a high level of support and positive customer service to our residents. Under the direction of the Activities Director, the Geriatric Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting residents during day field trips and during activity events within the facility.

Responsibilities Document and communicate all resident interactions, concerns and issues with Activities DirectorPerform ADL's on residents Assist residents with toileting, onboarding and off boarding the transportation vehicleAssist residents with meal feeding if necessaryPerform a variety of other support services as assigned with residents throug the acttivities departmentAbide by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan Qualifications Must hold a current certification and GNA license in MarylandMust possess a positive and professional attitude Previous experience working as an Activities Assistant highly desirableAbility to work well in a team-oriented environmentPrevious experience working in an a skilled nursing facility a plusAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to remain calm and patient when dealing with residentsAbility to show empathy and compassion while interacting with residents to increase their comfort levelCurrent CPR Certification Interested in this opportunity?
