Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Hosts to join our team at Peaks of Otter Lodge in Bedford, Virginia. As a Host, you will be responsible for welcoming guests and managing the host station.

Pay

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

$12.15 - $12.15 / hour

Responsibilities Review floor plan and reservation book daily to create seating chartsSeat guests and maintain control of wait timesInspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setupSpeak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to complaints, and thank guests as they are leavingAnswer restaurant telephone line during assigned hours of operationQualifications Prior experience in a guest service environment preferredAbility to maintain a high energy level in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to effectively communicate with guests and team membersNo high school diploma or GED requiredPhysical Requirements Ability to remain on feet for entire length of shiftAbility to maneuver between tables and around cornersAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsShift Details
