Housekeeper

Cornerstone Club sits atop the Uncompahgre Plateau 18 miles southwest of Montrose, Colorado.  As an award winning 4800-acre development, the development encompasses a private member’s only club which includes a restaurant, an equestrian center, a shooting club, a Greg Norman Designed Golf Course, and more.  In addition, Cornerstone Club has an extensive nature preserve, and walking/hiking/biking trails all which pay homage to the region’s rich heritage.

SUMMARY

The Housekeeper works closely with the Residence team, supporting them in maintaining the cleanliness of the entire cabin. This position plays an integral role in the Housekeeping team. The Housekeeper will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the public area space of the Club.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Job duties include; although are not limited to:

Removing trash from work areas to the loading dock/dumpster and removing trash and linen from cleaning carts and housekeeping closetsReporting any linen shortages or other discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisorMaintaining each storage and distribution area ensuring they are clean and organizedDistributing linen and supplies to designated areas in the club in accordance with established par levels in each areaDelivering miscellaneous goods and supplies to guest cabins and delivering linen and supplies to guestMaking up and delivering roll-a-way beds and baby cribsMaintaining cleanliness of guest corridors; sweeping and washing floors, vacuuming carpet, washing walls, dusting furniture and fixtures, cleaning elevators and tracks

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in housekeeping preferredPrevious hotel experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand and exert well-placed mobility for up to 7 hours in length. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to bend, squat and lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
