HR Capability Consulting Manager

Are you a Human Resource (HR) transformation Senior Consultant with\r\nPayroll transformation experience looking to move into a Consulting Manager\r\nrole, in a rapidly growing unique consulting business in the public health\r\nsector?

Our HR Consulting\r\nTeam provides end to end transformation support to Human Resource Director’s\r\nand Chief People Officer’s in the NHS to optimize the value delivered by their\r\nHuman Resource and Workforce services to improve their contribution to the\r\noverall performance of their organization.

As a HR Consulting Manager you\r\nwill lead all aspects of complex and large-scale\r\nprojects including Payroll, to deliver enhanced value to customers. Tailoring\r\nrecommendations to suit client needs, facilitating decision making through\r\ncollaborative approaches, and encouraging expertise in specific markets or\r\nConsulting area.

This role is hybrid\r\nvariable working, you will only be required in the office a few days a month\r\nfor key meetings. Your contractual location can be at any of our offices based\r\nin - London, Manchester, Leeds or Bristol, the remaining days can be working from\r\nhome or at your contractual office. 

What you’ll be doing:

The Consulting will need a strong dedication to knowledge sharing and\r\nskill development within the team making sure this is maintained.

The role also consists of leading customer relationships, expanding\r\nnetworks, fostering loyalty, and actively contributing to the growth of the\r\nConsulting business.

Your core responsibilities will be:

As part of the Consulting Leadership Team, influencing, developing, and delivering the consulting strategy.Leading the HR Consulting Team responsible for team and people development.Leading HR consulting business development and sales including development of the go to market plan, developing relationships, leading bids.Leading a portfolio of HR consulting projects.Leading the development of HR consulting propositions methodologies, tools and templates.You are likely to currently be working at Director level or an experienced Senior Manager in a consulting business.

Be part of the successful delivery\r\nof client projects, ensuring technical excellence.Assist in client retention,\r\nwinning new work and other marketing initiatives.Awareness of process / contribute\r\nto improving project’s efficiency.Contribute to the end-to-end\r\nsales process.Responsibility for the quality\r\nand profitability of project deliverables, assuring added value to our\r\ncustomers.Engage with and apply\r\nappropriate governance, management methodologies, processes and procedures for the\r\nend-to-end project tasks they deliver or supervise.Identify appropriate resource,\r\nwith the right expertise for project delivery.

Subject Matter Expertise;

Identify improvement/automation\r\nopportunities for processes to improve our efficiency and reduce risk.Able to work with a client focused\r\napproach.Directly or indirectly\r\ncontribute to growth activity (qualification of opportunities and designing of\r\nconsulting solutions)Build a strong network to engage\r\nwith prospective and existing customers.Ability to identify the need of\r\ncustomers and propose suitable solutions.Lead in the development of\r\ncustomer proposals engaging with all relevant partners.Identify, prepare and negotiate\r\nadditional work requests in keeping with the growth plan.Influence the customer's\r\ndirection with appropriate challenge and proposition.Work in partnership with the\r\ncustomer to take ownership of the proposed solutions and coordinates senior\r\ncustomer engagement.Design solutions to meet the\r\nneeds of the customers by utilising appropriate skills and method of delivery.Adhere to and\r\npromote the UK and Group's principles on quality and security.Contributes to the development\r\nof UK Consulting offers.Actively research innovative\r\nideas in the marketplace to make sure the business continuously improves\r\npotential propositions.Apply Sopra Steria UK values and\r\nstory consistently with both internal and external customers.

Leading & Managing;

Oversea the operational aspects\r\nof a project or assignment by leading a project team and/or applying specific\r\nexpertise in a multi-capability environment.Coordinate\r\ntasks for a solution, lead project team(s) and make sure there is profitability\r\nand efficiency.

What you will bring:

You will have Business Consulting expertise within a HR transformation environment, which will include Payroll.Experience of working with the Public Sector.Experience working on diverse consulting projects, demonstrating the ability to handle complex tasks, lead teams, and deliver impactful result.Evidence of personal business development success.Demonstrated leadership experience, including developing teams, mentoring junior consultants, and leading project initiatives.A track record of effectively analysing complex problems, developing innovative solutions, and overseeing their implementation.A history of adapting to different industries, client cultures, and project scopes, showcasing versatility and flexibility.Experience in delivering presentations of business and technical solutions to senior client executives in formal presentations, question and answer sessions and on reference visits.Experience of developing HR service propositions and taking these to market Demonstrates awareness of commercial opportunitiesA strong ability to build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique needs.
