CodePath is a national non-profit that is reprogramming higher education to create the most diverse generation of software engineers, CTOs, and founders. We deliver industry-vetted courses and career support centered on the needs of Black, Latino/a, Indigenous, and low-income students. Our students train with senior engineers, intern at top companies, and rise together to become the tech leaders of tomorrow.

Founded in 2017, CodePath has taught over 20,000 students and delivered courses across over 85 universities. We are supported by some of the largest and most well-respected organizations, including Andreessen Horowitz, Blue Meridian Partners, Cognizant Foundation, Comcast, Google, Meta, Salesforce, Walmart, and Workday, among others.

We are currently targeted to serve 10,000+ students a year nationwide as of 2023, and are planning to scale up to ~100,000 students a year by 2030.

About the Team

The CodePath Local Strategy is to enable universities to achieve a 100% paid technical internship rate for their computing students by deeply integrating our proven playbook to engage students in CodePath programming as a standard part of their college journey.

The CodePath E3 Program seeks to build the best on-campus, cohort-based technical education program in the world by implementing a proven model of sequenced industry courses, collaborative learning, and wrap-around support with local college/university computing students. The CodePath E3 Program is built upon three key pillars:

Course Sequence - A golden pathway course sequence of both “for-credit" and “non-credit” courses designed to prepare students to build the skills and confidence needed to secure paid internships as a core part of their student journey. Career Center - Services include but are not limited to: Internship connections Mock interviews 1:1 mentorship Student Community Engagement In-person events Social engagements Student support (Team and Peer to Peer) Industry Partner site tours or events

About the Role

Location: Atlanta or Miami

Reports To: Sr. Manager of Program Implementation, CodePath E3 Program

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

This role will drive CodePath course integration in partnership with faculty and staff within our partner institutions. You will work hand in hand with university faculty and staff to analyze the CodePath course curriculum and calibrate it with the college course pathways and curriculum. You will use this information to help determine at what point in the students journey is most appropriate to engage in CodePath courses.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with university faculty and staff to analyze and compare CodePath course curriculum against university curriculum requirements, course policies and syllabus requirements. Participate in course mapping with university faculty and staff to determine placement and level of credit bearing CodePath courses. Manage the creation or adaptation of course materials, ensuring alignment with program goals and university requirements. This includes but is not limited to the development of course syllabi and grading policies. Advocate for the program's value and demonstrate its impact to secure long-term institutional support from the university and potential external partners. Foster program visibility and reputation by promoting program achievements, student successes, and industry partnerships to build reputation and attract future students and partners. In partnership with the Programs team, develop streamlined admissions and onboarding processes, ensuring program cohorts meet defined criteria and faculty are prepared for effective delivery. Manage and support teaching team performance during the course. Monitor student progress and outcomes: Track student performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement in curriculum, instruction, and student support. Identify and address E3 program challenges: Proactively address operational issues, resource constraints, or unforeseen obstacles to program success. Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies through conducting regular program evaluations, soliciting feedback from stakeholders, and implementing data-driven changes to enhance program quality and effectiveness. Explore and prepare for program expansion with institutions in the local area: Research potential opportunities for scaling the program to new cohorts, delivery models and/or campuses. Collaborate with the Curriculum team to communicate the curriculum needs for local implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

Strong commitment to CodePath's mission and values Bachelor's degree in education, computer science, or a related field 3+ years developing curriculum demonstrating an understanding of learning objectives, instructional design principles, and assessment methods. 2+ years effectively managing multiple engagement projects simultaneously, setting goals, tracing progress, and meeting deadlines. Experienced relationship builder who deeply understands and connects with student and faculty needs, concerns, and motivations. Fostering strong relationships based on mutual respect, transparency, and open communication. Ability to structure courses logically, sequence content effectively, and develop clear learning objectives and expectations. Proficient in creating detailed and informative syllabi that communicate course goals, policies, and resources. Familiarity with various programming languages and frameworks. Experience with basic LMS customization and integrations. Ability to navigate the LMS interface, create and manage courses, upload content, and manage user permissions. Experience with basic LMS customization and integrations.

Pay range $80,000—$100,000 USD
