Industrial Engineer Manager - Fremont,NE

The Industrial Engineering Managers role is to provide strategic leadership to improve site performance on an ongoing basis. The IE Manager develops effective site performance measurement systems and creates major plant improvement programs that they lead and implement through the other members of the management team.


Key measurable of the role is setting and meeting continually improving plan numbers along with the development of a continuous improvement culture that empowers associates to make data driven decisions.  This role also fosters associate involvement and ownership in area management.

What are we looking for?

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent

Skills/Experience:

3+ years of experience in Production or Supply Chain roles5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel Proven record of success in implementing sustained continuous improvementUnderstanding of improvement tools as SIXSIGMA, Kaizen, 5SAbility to work cross functionally with Senior Leaders and stakeholdersTrack record in leading step-change initiatives / Best practice roll outEager to analyze and inspired by maximizing valueFluent in English

What will be your key responsibilities?Work with the regional team and the site to define the site role within the network Site Strategy deployment to fulfill the site roleOwner of base masterplan submission with site technical managerSupport regional/global IE in providing data to establish the long term capacity pictureDrive business change - Business change management, Program development & designWeekly and Periodic Reporting to drive data driven culture and fact based decisionsOwn site Small Minor Capital Budget and strategy to maximize its effectivenessBudget Reporting and Phasing (in partnership with Engineering and finance)Use outcome of benchmarking to establish roadmap to best in class across the different element of the toolkit for the site working with all the site teams on non-financials
