Major Position Responsibilities
Inspect incoming and production material to confirm that it conforms to specifications.
Conduct random visual and measurement tests at each station.
Inspect and approve reworked parts.
Check operator Process Control Records (PCRs) to ensure that the company quality policy is being upheld.
Document quantities produced, rework, and scrap.
Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areasAdheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations
Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
Basic Qualifications Competent in using basic measuring devices and able to learn how to use more complicated measuring tools.Familiarity with ISO and API standards is highly desirable.Ability to Comprehend the quality management system and material segregation.Work in a fast paced and changing environment.Desire to learn new workplace skills.Committed to producing quality and conforming product.Safety conscious behavior.
