The Account Manager is responsible for project development, managing and reporting marketing/communication initiatives for corporate alliance partnerships and national social impact audiences.  The position requires regular reporting to senior hospital leadership and frequent interactions with external organizations and internal departments. The Account Manager will also assist with national media plans and cause awareness initiatives for the hospital, work on a collaborative inter-disciplinary team and have entry-level supervision and business management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Supports inter-disciplinary corporate alliance team with all aspects of project management, including but not limited to, the following:

• Specific advertising campaigns (both local and national), national e-community, corporate alliance marketing campaigns (follows prospect to acquired sales cycle), national brand awareness initiatives, media buying and evaluation and reporting (staff meetings to Board reports)

• Collaborates with Nationwide Children’s Foundation colleagues on efforts as part of Corporate Alliance team

• Demonstrates knowledge of strategic marketing and public relations plan development and evaluation.

• Manages projects on-time and on-budget while maintaining positive client communication.

• Leads communication strategy discussions in project groups as required for implementation of specific initiatives; provides facilitation and consensus building support to reach effective results.

• Demonstrates application of marketing/communication skills through effective promotional writing, creative campaign development, sound program evaluation and credible counsel on specific initiatives and projects.

• Assists in overall evaluation, documentation and reporting of marketing plan(s) results.

• Establish evaluative criteria for monitoring the impact of projects to help ensure achievement of desired results.

• Demonstrates ability to understand and successfully interact with diverse management/administrative work styles. Frequent level of senior leadership interactions.

• Responsible for developing and managing marketing/communication initiatives as assigned.

• May be responsible for the work of others – leads team strategies and has junior team member and/or project supervision. • Enhances the brand by ensuring consistent position and messaging throughout advertising and marketing materials.

Job Specific Competencies:

• Work within department project management system to track all related jobs and ensure work is getting done on time, reviewed and approved. Manage overall job flow for director.

• Support director in managing weekly/bi-weekly internal team meetings and maintaining project workflow. Create reporting documents to track budgets and tasks.

• Represent corporate alliance team with agency partners, clients and hospital staff.

• Guide and support the creation and execution of marketing materials for clients, Foundation colleagues and other corporate alliance-related personnel.

• Assist in the development of timelines and work plans to execute projects and meet client/internal deadlines and expectations.

• Immerse yourself in hospital brand insights and also clients’ brand to support brand strategy and recommendations.

• Assist director with tracking all budget and strategic plan initiatives. Support director and team with presentations, reports and stewardship activities.

• Support internal team with content development for all aspects of corporate alliance strategy.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.Five to seven years of diverse strategic marketing experience, including development and implementation of marketing plans for an organization. Cause marketing experience is a plus.Experience with overseeing complex projects.Proven experience in project/work group leadership.Strong verbal communication.Ability to work on inter-disciplinary team.
