Job Description

We are seeking an IT Project Manager for a 3 month contract-to-hire role in Denver, CO (downtown).  This role will be onsite/ in the office near Union Station. 

 

This role will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and delivery of projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.    Additional responsibilities include: 

 

Facilitate the definition of program scope, goals and deliverablesDevelop full scale Project plans working with various IT and Business teams Present and negotiate scope and schedule with customers, senior management, and IT teams Assemble and coordinate Program staff and manage program resource allocation Plan and schedule program timelines and necessary weekly/daily or ad hoc meetings Identify, document, mitigate, resolve risks issues and update program RAID as things change and evolve Provide direction and support to Sling and coordinate with Executive Program managers Constantly monitor and report on progress of the program to all stakeholders Implement and manage program changes and interventions to achieve program outputs Provide program evaluations and assessment of results throughout and post project deployment

Qualifications5-7 years of Project Management experience preferably in technology with Telecom, Cable, WirelessBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related discipline   Strong Business acumenAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with IT management, software development and test teams, and infrastructure teams, and with business partnersKnowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of program managementFormal knowledge of Program management principles, processes, and toolsWorking knowledge of IT systems, Agile and SDLCExperience with GSuite, Visio, and MSProjectPMP certification, CSM certification, and Advanced Degree preferredStrong facilitation skills with an ability to gain consensusAbility to work on teams in a lead and participative capacity with many different and diverse stakeholders

This contract-to-hire role will be located onsite/in the office in downtown Denver, CO.
