IT Specialist

Located at the ASC Home Office in Indianapolis, IN

The IT Specialist provides end-user consulting, system design, project management (both small and large scale), and resolution of complex network and computing issues.

Responsibilities

Design and implement software and hardware solutions. Resolve end user computing and networking issues utilizing complex toolsets. Project manages software, hardware and other system level implementations and updates. Ensure that end user systems comply with appropriate security standards, participates in defining the standards with the Chief Security Officer (CSO) Consult with end users to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Place orders for equipment needed for small and large projects. Ensure that networks are operating optimally and that issues are resolved with internal and external vendor resources as required.

Requirements:

High School Diploma required, 4 year technical degree preferred.         Six months to one year of computer hardware and software support experience Must have networking hardware knowledge, good phone manners and the ability to explain complex IT solutions to non-technical end-users. Ability to use standard Microsoft Office software, general office equipment/hardware and other systems as required.
