Provide assistance in preparations and cooking meals for the whole crew. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the breakroom and other locations in the Galley. 

Essential Functions/Qualifications 

The responsibilities of the position include the following: 

Assists in meal preparation as indicated on the menu or as assigned.  

Serves meal to employees  Washes dishes and cookware, cleans tables and floors, empties trash.  Maintains a clean working environment.  Responsible for cleaning kitchen, kitchen equipment, and all dishes on a daily basis.  Restocks beverage machines and condiments on a regular basis as necessary.  Assists in organizing and securing the food storage lockers.  Responsible for basic housekeeping duties such as cleaning and stocking bathrooms and other common areas. Other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands 

 Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. 

Mental Activities 

Employee is regularly required to use teamwork, multitask, decision-making in a very stressful and fast pace work environment. Required to pay attention to details and have a high level of accuracy, be flexible and stress resistant. Able to use interpersonal, customer service, problem analysis. The employee will occasionally be required to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
