Lead Medical Technologist

Status:   Part Time

Job Summary:   The Lead Med Tech is responsible for the completion of the routine daily workload on a designated shift which includes processing & specimen collection according to established laboratory policies and procedures, performs quality control and preventive maintenance, and inventories laboratory supplies. The nature of the work may vary depending upon the workload and the assigned duties. 

Qualifications:

Must have completed a Bachelors Degree Program in a Biological Science with one year internshipplus successful completion of the American Society of Clinical Pathologist medical technology certification examination and/or possess the necessary requirements to qualify as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist under  Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act Standards. At least one year of exper. as a Med Tech preferred. Nationally recognized certification as a medical technologist.
