Posting Details Posting Information Requisition 202400149ST Title LSC Student Assistant – Video & Design Employee Class Student Employee College Work Study Position Yes Department LSC Division Division of Student Affairs Hours per week 10-20 Hiring Rate $10:00 – $12.00 Preferred Student Classification Nature & Purpose of Position The Video and Design position works closely with the Lowman Student Center Associate Director, assisting with the creation of marketing materials for the Lowman Student Center.
Requires the ability to create video content from concept to implementation and follow the SHSU Marketing Brand Guide. Student should be able to: film and edit for website, create scripts, conduct interviews, create engaging pieces for social media.
Provide assistance as a team player with various Lowman Student Center services, programs, and initiatives.
Work closely with the Lowman Student Center staff to define project focus to meet project deadlines.
Other duties as assigned. Other Requirements for the Position
Videography skills Photography skills Must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher Must be able to work year round Computer design skills (Adobe Products preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good organizational skills Ability to work well with others as well as independently Ability to multi-task several projects Able to meet the demands of a varied schedule, including LSC staff meetings and trainings
