Both hotels are open year-round and feature swimming pools fed by naturally warm local springs. We’re hiring a Maintenance Dispatcher to Live. Work. Explore. in Death Valley National Park! Job Summary: Receive, record, and dispatch maintenance requests. Assist Parts Clerk as needed to help organize and maintain a clean parts room. This position requires the ability to multi task. The Details: Position Type: Fulltime Year-Round Start Date: April 2024 Pay: $16.65 Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why the Oasis at Death Valley? Responsibilities Responsibilities: Receive, record and dispatch for maintenance requests as needed. Prepares work orders, the closing of work orders and executes the dispatch of service calls to the appropriate crew utilizing the property EAM Software, Infor. Organize, maintain and dispatch work orders from the project task board. Contact various outside vendors for scheduled services such as dumpster call outs, pest extermination, and equipment repairs. Assist parts clerk with the data entry into the INFOR system. Other duties as assigned. Supports the CMMS Manager as required. Qualifications Qualifications: Computer skills required. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Knowledge of mechanical parts preferred. Ability to verbally communicate with vendors. Ability to provide a physical count of stock items. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Warehouse experience helpful Physical Requirements include: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to work sitting and/or standing for long periods of time. Ability to live and work in an extreme environment. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
